Active Manufacturing’s milling department features four multi axis milling centers. Our recent 2008 purchase of the Okuma MB-56 VA has expanded our milling capabilities. Combined, these four milling centers can achieve: 20,000 rpm spindle rate, 43 inch X axis travel, 20 inch Y axis travel and 22 inch high Z travel. Active utilizes the latest software via MasterCam and PowerMill to post to the mills. The mills are capable of machining 3D profiles in many different types of material including but not limited to steel, aluminum and plastics. |
